This blows my mind. In the grand scheme of things, 40 years is not a long time. To think that we went from Pong to where we are now is absolutely astounding. I always like to think where video games are going to end up next. Will we be as confused as our parents are when playing our games? Will our kids laugh at us as we labor through a seemingly impossible interface? Regardless, the growth of video games over such a short period of time is miraculous.
